SPOTTED or FOOT SPOTTED
A spotted movement is assisted either by a band or your feet.  When you do a pullup with your feet either on a chair or on the ground so you are working with less than your full bodyweight that is considered “spotted”.  Spotted reps are an important part of building up to full bodyweight pullups.
